How to Search for a Subject
Our online catalogue operates as a free-text database. At present there is no subject thesaurus.
When we add Collection Level Descriptions we will be able to include subject index terms.
For the moment we ask you to search for all possible keyword variations, for example:
- prison, gaol, jail, house of correction, penitentiary
as individual 'Keyword' or 'Any of These Words' searches.
