'Relieving the Monotony': Durham Light Infantry Regimental Journals, 1857-1968

Evening talk on Thursday 23 March 2017, 6.30pm-8pm

Regimental journals provide a fascinating insight into the everyday lives of the officers and men of the Durham Light Infantry. Sporting events and social occasions are mixed with transfers and new postings. Together, they give us a chance to see the everyday workings of this well-known regiment.
