Third Thursday talks in 2020

Free local history talks on 'Third Thursdays' cancelled until further notice

We're sorry we've had to suspend our 2020 series of Third Thursday Talks until further notice, due to the Coronavirus outbreak.

As soon as it is safe to do so we will arrange new dates for the talks which were cancelled.

Our talks offer exciting insights into the archives at Durham County Record Office. Presented by staff, researchers and local historians, they are a great way to discover more about Durham's history.

There are seven talks in 2020, including a special date at the end of April to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Victory in Europe - VE Day.

Find full details in the Events section of the Record Office online shop or download a copy of our Third Thursday Talks programme 2020 (PDF, 1Mb).
